THE PREDICAMENT
•Mary is engaged to Joseph and will be in violation of the code of conduct for marriage (Lk 1:27)
•She was culpable of adultery, resulting in being stoned to death    (Ex 20:14, Deut 22:22)
•She also is concerned about how she will conceive the Son of El Elyon (Lk 1:32, Gen 14:18-20)
•She found to be in humble submission despite the risks
